Recent Search

If you’ve ever used the Search feature to find a movie, actor or your favorite professional or college team, there’s a quick and easy way to find the same listing again. Use DIRECTV’s Recent Search option–it’s easy as 1-2-3:

If you have an SD receiver or a DVR:

1. Press MENU on your remote and hit Search for Shows
2. Select Recent Searches
3. Then scroll down the list of recent search items to find the subject, actor or title you’re looking for and then click Select

If you have an HD receiver or an HD DVR:

1. Press MENU on your remote control
2. Select Search & Browse
3. Select Smart Search.
4. Select Recent Searches below the letterpad.
5. Then scroll down the list of recent search items to find the subject, actor or title you’re looking for and then click Select
