What do an orange fuzzball, a baby chimp, a funeral director, and Robert De Niro have in common? We’re definitely not talking about another wacky Hangover sequel. These stars lead the films premiering on DIRECTV CINEMA this week. The movies are available starting Tuesday, August 21—to watch online or on your TV—so check them out and get to know these colorful characters and their stories.

Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax
In this animated adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss children’s book about the plight of the environment, the characters you know and love are brought to life by a star-studded cast. Danny DeVito is the voice of the Lorax, Zac Efron is Ted, Ed Helms (of The Hangover!) is the Once-ler, and the irresistible Betty White is Grammy Norma.

Chimpanzee
Disneynature brings us an incredible story about Oscar, a 3-year-old chimp who lives with his clan of chimpanzees in the African forest. After being separated from his troop, he finds himself having to survive on his own until he’s adopted by another chimpanzee. This heartwarming family film, which took four years to film, gives us an enlightening and rare look into the lives of these fascinating primates.

Bernie
Jack Black plays the role of Bernie Tiede, an assistant funeral director who’s also a beloved member of a small community in Texas. When he befriends Marjorie Nugent (Shirley MacLaine), the town’s affluent yet unpleasant widow, they become inseparable. Bernie soon finds himself struggling to satisfy her increasing demands until she disappears—and he’s charged with her murder.

Freelancers
Malo (50 Cent) is the son of a fallen NYPD officer who decided to follow his father’s footsteps and join the force. He finds himself involved with a group of rogue cops and his father’s former partner, Sarcone (Robert DeNiro). To prove his loyalty and respect, he must face a series of tests that lead him to find out the truth behind his father’s death.
