This year marks the 60th anniversary of the classic musical Singin’ in the Rain. To celebrate Turner Classic Movies brought the film back to theaters for one night only in July. But due to popular demand, the film is back in theaters today for another one-day only event.
The 1952 classic stars Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Connor, and 60 years later almost unanimously tops All-Time Musical lists, and places on All-Time Best Movies lists, too. Don’t miss the chance to see such timeless songs and dances like the famous title song scene, “Good Morning”, “Moses”, “All I Do Is Dream of You”, and of course Donald O’Connor showing his amazing physical comedy ability in “Make ‘Em Laugh” on a big screen.
Tonight’s screening starts with an exclusive Turner Classic Movies interview with Debbie Reynolds where she shares memories of working with Kelly and O’Connor.
