They say well behaved women rarely make history. The same can be said of women in the world of TV. For those of you who love badass women—the kind that save the world—the fall TV lineup will be your moment. Take a look at the latest group of badass ladies coming to a TV near you.

New Show! Revolution — Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiradakos)
15 years after a massive blackout, the human race struggles to thrive without electricity. War lords run the land, and those who have found safety do not stray outside of the their respective towns. Enter Charlie Matheson, a young woman living in a small rural community with her brother, father, and stepmother. When her father is killed and her brother is captured by the militia led by Captain Tom Nevill (Giancarlo Esposito, Breaking Bad), Charlie goes on a quest to save him. She must travel throughout the United States to find her estranged uncle Miles, the only person who can help her. Little does Charlie know, he may also be one of the other few people who know about the cause of the blackout. And the solution. Premieres Monday September 17th at 10 p.m. on NBC.

New Show! Last Resort — Lieutenant Grace Shepard (Daisy Betts)
When a submarine carrying nuclear warheads is asked by an unknown commander to fire them at Pakistan, the ship’s Commander-in-Chief refuses to take the order. This action sets the tone for this military drama about a submarine crew, The Colorado, who refuse to comply with their country’s orders. The Lieutenant and Chief Navigator of the ship, Grace Shepard, is new to the job and must prove herself. Daisy Betts, who last played the wife of a navy officer on Sea Patrol, now she plays the officer. Check her out starting Thursday September 27th at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Nikita — Nikita (Maggie Q)
Once a spy and assassin working for a corrupt organization called The Division, Nikita turned the tables and created her own network of underground secret agents set on undoing the organization’s wrongs. Now she’s back for Season Three, and after overthrowing Percy, she’s heading the Division herself. Tune in Friday, October 19th, at 9 p.m. on CW.

NCIS — Ziva David (Cote de Pablo)
She’s fought long and hard to be a full-time agent of the NCIS, and finally in Season Nine she got what she deserved. She has been hailed by critics as a stunning example of a strong, capable woman as well as the most positive example of an Israeli person on American TV, so you can guess we’re excited to see Ziva David return in Season Ten. Premiering Tuesday September 25th at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Fringe — Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv)
The lead character and agent on Fringe, Olivia Dunham is going to have a lot in store for her in the fifth and final season. The team has been frozen in amber and will wake up in the year 2036. We will find out about the team and what made them preserve themselves for the future in flashbacks. But what is the year 2036 like? And will Olivia be able to fight the Observers and have a normal life with Peter and her daughter? Premieres Friday, September 28th, at 9 p.m. on FOX.
