Law enforcement is a big theme this week in TV. Homicide detectives, the FBI, or appearances from U.S. Senators in your favorite comedies, you’re going to get your fix of the people who make sure that justice is done.
Monday, September 17 — Bones
Three months since Brennan ran from the FBI, we return for the eighth season premiere to find the Jeffersonian working hard to prove her innocence. Fortunately, the FBI’s belief that Christopher Pelant framed her gains some traction when they receive a tip that leads them to the discovery of a high-school guidance counselor’s remains. 9 p.m on FOX.
Tuesday, September 18 — White Collar
In the summer finale, a thief targets an FBI conference when he finds out something extremely valuable is there. 9 p.m. on USA.
Wednesday, September 19 — Survivor
18 castaways are stranded on the Philippine’s Caramoan Islands in the 25th season premiere. This time the group is divided into three tribes, and contestants include three former players, Michael Skupin, Jonathan Penner, and Russell Swan. Lisa Whelchel, from The Facts of Life, will also be a contestant. 8 p.m. on CBS.
Thursday, September 20 — Parks and Recreation
Leslie and Andy go to Washington D.C. to visit Ben and April in their new jobs. There, they’ll run into some very special people, like Senator Barbra Boxer, John McCain, and Olympia Snowe. Then, back in Pawnee, Rob throws a barbeque for the Parks and Recreation staff. 9:30 p.m. on NBC.
Friday, September 21 — Primetime: What Would You Do?
Using hidden cameras, the What Would You Do? team films people in various different situations, recording their reactions and providing insight into what those reactions mean. Known for its exposure of how different people view certain social issues, ranging from homophobia to elderly abuse, you can expect these issues to be targeted even further in Season Six. 9 p.m. on ABC.
Saturday, September 22 – Saturday Night Live
It’s time for the 38th season of SNL, and we couldn’t be more excited since it’s an election year! This episode get ready for tons of hilarious sketches with host Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Music by Mumford and Sons. 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
Sunday, September 23 — Copper
When O’Brien and Corcoran look into a double homicide they find evidence that links the crimes to a botched revenge plot. 10 p.m. on BBC America.
