Dads often get a bad rap, but this week we’re paying tribute to dads everywhere by highlighting the best dads on Fall TV.

Up All Night
Chris (Will Arnett) is a former lawyer and stay-at-home dad. His wife Reagan (Christina Applegate) works as a producer on a talk show. But in Season Two Reagan will lose her job when the Ava Show is canceled. Will Will go back to work and their roles be reversed? See what happens starting Thursday, September 20, at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.

How I Met Your Mother
In the Season Eight premiere you’ll notice that the folks on How I Met Your Mother are going through some pretty big changes. Ted (Josh Radner) is dating a runaway bride. Is this runaway bride “the one”? And Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Allyson Hannigan) are new parents. Watch to find out what happens. New season premieres Monday, September 24, at 8 p.m.

Blue Bloods
In the Season Three premiere, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) fights with a criminal from his past who will use a dangerous hostage situation to seek revenge against him. Can Frank (Tom Selleck) help Danny? See what happens starting Friday, September 28, at 10 p.m. on CBS.

Suburgatory
Raising his teenager daughter, Tessa (Jane Levy), in the suburbs hasn’t been easy for George (Jeremy Sisto). But this season he takes a new turn. He’s no longer with Eden (Alicia Silverstone) and Jill’s off on her book tour. Which means he won’t get any break from his job as a father. How will he do? And will his brewing romance with Dallas (Cheryl Hines) come to fruition? Tune in Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC starting October 17.
