With its all-star cast, music, and plotlines that play out like a country song, Nashville has all the makings of a huge hit. Will it be the gem of the Fall TV season, as the critics predict?

Produced by Callie Khouri, the writer of Thelma and Louise, Nashville stars Connie Britton (American Horror Story, Friday Night Lights) as a legendary country songstress named Rayna Jaymes. With her new album bombing and her upcoming tour shaping up to be a disaster, Rayna’s agent suggests she collaborate with rival and rising pop star, Juliette Barnes. But can Rayna stand it? Especially when Juliette will do anything to get to the top, including going after Rayna’s guitar player, Deacon (Charles Esten, Whose Line Is It, Anyway?).

Don’t miss the premiere of Nashville on Wednesday, October 10, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
