If you’re into politics — if only to understand those candidate jokes — DIRECTV CINEMA™ has got you covered with a new comedy that brings the laughs to the party, no pun intended. But if what you need is to believe in something so fantastic that it arouses mockery, you can have that too!

The Campaign
After the long-term congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) commits a major mistake just before an election, a pair of rich CEOs plan to launch a rival candidate to gain influence in their district. The new fellow is Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis), a naive director of the local tourism center, who doesn’t look like he can stand a chance. After it becomes apparent that Marty might actually be a dangerous contender, their rivalry escalates into a back-stabbing frenzy.

Safety Not Guaranteed
The producers of Little Miss Sunshine bring us another irreverent feel-good comedy. When a Seattle magazine editor (Jake M. Johnson) goes hunting for the story behind a quirky classified ad, where a man (Mark Duplass) seeks a companion to travel back in time, he appoints two interns (Aubrey Plaza and Karan Soni) to help him track the author. Together they will embark in a hilarious journey intended to push the limits of what grown-ups are willing to believe.
