It may be 50 years since the release of the first Bond film, but 007 continues to be as thrilling as ever. Daniel Craig (Munich, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) is James Bond in Skyfall, the 23rd film of the franchise, which hits theatres tonight. In this highly anticipated sequel, the debonair intelligence agent is back to investigate a mysterious attack on MI6, which will test his loyalty to his boss M (Judi Dench) and position him before the villainous former operative Raoul Silva (Javier Bardem).

Critics have already praised the film; some even claiming it could potentially be the best of the series to date. Directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Revolutionary Road) it looks like a high-octane, visual extravaganza, filled with surprising twists and turns, as well as some seriously terrific acting. And we can’t wait to watch.
