The Layover: Anthony Bourdain Returns for a New Season of Travel Tips

In Season Two of The Layover, celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain will give you even more tips on how to take advantage of your layover. See what places he visits this season, and how he challenges himself to experience as much as he can in this limited time span.

In the season premiere, Monday, November 19, Bourdain travels through Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods, visiting the city’s unique treasures like the International Museum of Surgical Science and sampling specialty eats like its famous hot dogs, Polish sausages, and Italian beef. He’ll also survey Chicago residents to see if they actually eat the famous Chicago-style deep-dish pizza.

As the season continues, Bourdain will keep on trotting the globe. He will venture to parks in Paris, taste shaved ice in Taipei, eat porchetta sandwiches in Toronto, discover new food trucks in New Orleans, sample cheese from Philadelphia cheese shops, and learn how to cure his hangover Dublin style – hint, it involves Guinness and oysters.
