Just in case you haven’t heard, there’s a big fight this weekend. The fight to end all fights. The Fight of the Century between the first and only eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated, five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. If you’re not excited enough for this battle royale, here are a few recommendations to watch to get you into the spirit.
Rocky: There’s never a bad time to watch this boxing phenomenon that started it all, Just let Sylvester Stallone’s quest to defeat Apollo Creed wash over you in this unforgettable Oscar-wining Best Picture.
The Competitors: Before the big fight, go inside their match up so you can be as prepared as they are. Watch Mayweather’s Open Workout or see the legends speak about, themselves (why would they talk about anything else?).
Ray Donovan: Besides fixing pretty much anything, Ray Donovan can also out-box pretty much anyone who comes his way. If you’re looking for a show that marries your love of boxing with criminal intrigue and acclaimed drama, this is the way to go.
Raging Bull: In this classic that needs almost no introduction, Martin Scorsese tackles Jake La Motta’s biography for one of the greatest movies of all time. At its center stands Robert De Niro’s brilliant Academy Award winning performance.
Watch them all—and don’t miss the big event the Mayweather/Pacquiao Fight, airing May 2, at 9 pm ET.
