What has been the most rewarding part about embarking on this nationwide journey to find the talent that moves you?
Kelly Rowland: Finding new talent was definitely the most exciting part!
You obviously have a lot of respect and admiration for Frank Gaston Jr.—how has working with him so closely on this project been?
So fun and I’m also taken aback at home much we can read each others’ minds.
What in your opinion makes for a great entertainer? Passion and talent are obviously really important, but what’s the real “it” factor for you?
They have to be crazy! It’s that little bit of insanity that allows your inner genius to come out.
There’s a special kind of positive energy that can come from amassing a talented group of women together. How do you think that energy translates to the small screen in Chasing Destiny?
I think that people can relate to all of these girls in some way or another. We’re all on this journey to greatness together, but in our own way in whatever field we’re looking to succeed in!
