Farewell To Rectify

October 17, 2016

For 3 seasons viewers have watched Daniel Holden try his best to get his life back together. And now, Rectify, the show that Variety hailed as “one of the best TV dramas of all time,” is coming to an end.

When Holden’s character was first introduced to viewers, we had so many questions. What had prison truly been like for Daniel? How would he adjust to life on the outside? And the most pressing question of all: did Daniel Holden actually kill Hanna?

As the series unfolded, writers offered glimpses into Daniel’s prison life with scenes featuring Kerwin and Wendall. We also watched Daniel’s best attempts at adjusting to the modern world, while dealing with the angry reception he received from Hanna’s still grieving family. His interactions with his new family members the Talbots, and specifically Tawney Talbot, were some of the highlights of the series. However, throughout it all, there’s been no definitive proof of Daniel’s guilt or innocence.

As things come to end, it’s not entirely clear if the biggest question of the series will be answered. Which means that as viewers, we may be left to draw our own conclusions. No matter how it ends, one thing is for sure: Rectify has taken us on an incredible journey.

Check out the trailer below and don’t miss the powerful final season of Rectify! The final season begins Wednesday, October 26, at 10/9c on SundanceTV (Ch. 557).
