If you thought “Liam Neeson can’t possibly be releasing another butt-kicking, daughter-saving caper!” he isn’t… not now, anyway. But his famed character, former CIA agent Bryan Mills, is hitting the small screen with writer/producer Luc Besson at the helm of Taken on NBC.
Unlike the second and third installments of the film franchise, Taken is a prequel featuring Bryan Mills (Clive Standen) 30 years before he learns his “very particular set of skills.” After experiencing immense personal tragedy, the former Green Beret is pulled into a career with the CIA, where he learns the skills he later uses to save his family throughout the Taken films.
The new series promises to deliver more of what fans fell in love with years ago—thrilling action sequences, heart-thumping fight scenes, and epic threat speeches. Don’t miss the series premiere of Taken on Monday, Feb 27th at 10/9c on NBC. Because if you miss it, Bryan will find you, and he will—let’s just say you’ll want to watch.
